Dr. Jared Kent

Dr. Kent was originally born in Pittsburgh, PA but shortly after moved to Georgia. He grew up in Kennesaw, GA, just NW of Atlanta. He grew up in a big family being the youngest of five. He played competitive soccer all throughout his childhood and played Division I Soccer at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. It was at school that he met his wife, Leni. Dr. Kent was soon drafted to play professional soccer for the Major League Soccer team, Real Salt Lake. After a year of playing, he decided to leave professional soccer and focus on finishing his studies as he viewed an education a more reliable way to make a living and support a family.

Dr. Kent's interest in dentistry began when he had a close family friend introduce him to the profession. When he saw the help we would be able to give others on a day-to-day basis and have the ability to work with his hands and meet new people everyday, he knew he found his calling.

Dr. Kent worked hard working full-time, going to school full-time, and with the help from his wife raising a young family. Dr. Kent and Leni have three kids: Cole, 11; Rylee, 10; and Mia, 5.

After dental school Dr. Kent worked as an associate dentist in Gwinnett where he furthered his dental skills and confidence. After many years in Gwinnett, Dr. Kent decided that practice ownership was right for him and his family. After over a year of searching, Dr. Kent found the perfect practice for him and his family to settle down in here in LaGrange, GA. Dr. Kent and his family could not be happier with their decision to be in LaGrange and have truly enjoyed the wonderful people and community that LaGrange has to offer. They truly feel blessed to be here.

About Us

Located in the heart of LaGrange, GA, our practice has cared for families for over 40 years. Dr. Jared Kent took the helm in October 2019 and is committed to caring for you and your family like you are a member of his. 

Dr. Kent offers comprehensive dentistry for patients of all ages and performs everything from implant placement and root canals to cosmetic dentistry and oral exams. 

LaGrange Dentistry is located at 210 N. Lewis Street in LaGrange, GA, adjacent to Emory Hospital.
